Irina Shayk, 23, is a native of Emangelynsnk City, Rusia. She was discovered in2004 while on a three day train ride from Chelyabinsk to Moskow. Since the, Irina has been featured in Intimissimi, Lacoste and Guess campaigns. This is Irina’s third appearance in the Swimsuit Issue

HILARY RHODA

Hilary Rhoda, 21, was born in Chevy Chase, MD., and discovered at an event in Washington, D.C. She has appeared in ads for Balenciaga, Valentino, Dolce & Gabana, Givenchy, Donna Karan, Gucci and Ralph Lauren among others. She is one of Estée Lauder's newest faces and has also graced the covers of Vogue, British Harper's Bazaar and W. This is Hilary's first Swimsuit Issue appearance.

FRANZISKA VAN ALMSICK

Franziska van Almsick (born April 5, 1978 in East Berlin, Germany) is a German swimmer. She won her first Olympic medals in 1992 at the Barcelona Olympic Games aged fourteen.Over her career, Van Almsick earned ten career Olympic medals, none of them gold. She ended her career at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.

DANIELLA SARAHYBA

Modeling is the family business for Daniella Sarahyba, 24, a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her mother, Tara Lucia Sarahyba was Brazilian model and the pair appeared on the cover of a Brazilian parenting magazine when Daniella was just three days old. Her career began in earnest with modeling competitions at age 12 and she has done work for H&M, Spiegel and Benetton. This is Daniella's fifth Swimsuit Issue.

DANIELA HANTUCHOVA

Born in Poprad, Slovakia, Daniela Hantuchova, 25, turned pro in 1999, but had her breakthrough season in 2002, when she won at Indian Wells and reached the quarterfinals at both Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. A classically trained pianist, Hantuchova is one of five women to win every Grand Slam mixed doubles title. She has been ranked as high as fifth in the world and lives in Monte Carlo.

DANICA PATRICK

Danica Patrick, 26, first raced go-karts when her parents decided the family needed a fun way to spend time together. Born in Beloit, Wisc., she raced open-wheel cars in England before making her 2005 IndyCar debut. Patrick was the fourth woman to race in the Indianapolis 500 and first to win an IndyCar race, taking the Indy Japan 300 title in 2008. Patrick is making her second Swimsuit appearance.

LISA LOHFINK

Gina Lisa Lohfink is 21 years old. She makes her home in Seligenstadt, Hesse Germany. Gina has won several beauty pageants, including Miss Queen of the World, Miss Hawaiian

BARBARA MEIER

Barbara was the winner of the second cycle of "Germany's Next Topmodel" which aired in 2007. Not exactly having plans to pursue modeling and instead wishing to study mathematics, the redheaded and pale-skinned Barbara happened to catch the attention of a modeling scout, during a visit to the shopping mall, who was casting there for GNTM.

Her win on the show netted her a contract with IMG Models, the cover shot for German Cosmopolitan (August 2007), and a contract to become to the face of a new ad campaign for C&A clothing company.

As the reward for winning one of the contests on the show, Barbara appeared alongside Heidi Klum in a nationwide McDonald's commercial.

CHENEY LARSCHIED

Cheney Larschied, 22, dances for the Cleveland Cavaliers. She has been on the squad for two years. Cheney's hometown is Lima, Ohio. Her current occupation is bartender.

CHELSEY BUHLER

Chelsey Buhler, 20, dances for the Detroit Pistons. She has been on the squad for three years. Chelsey's hometown is Rochester Hills, Mich. Her current occupations are dance teacher, student and administrative assistant.

Brooklyn Decker, 21, was born in Middletown, Ohio, and raised in Charlotte, N.C. She was discovered at age 16 in a mall and began her career as the face of Mauri Simone. She has been featured in Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, FHM and Glamour as well as campaigns for Gap, Intimissimi and Victoria's Secret and in music videos for Jimmy Buffett and 3 Doors Down. This is Brooklyn's fourth Swimsuit Issue.

ASHLEY ALLEN

Ashley Allen, 20, dances for the Miami Heat. This is her first season on the squad. Asley's hometown is Boca Raton, Fla. Her current occupations are student and dance teacher.

Ariel Meredith

Ariel Meredith, 24, was discovered at age 14, but did not pursue modeling full time until she had completed her education. A Shreveport, LA., native, Ariel is currently featured in a Dolce and Gabana campaign, has posed for V Magazine, French Magazine, H&M and Gap. This is Ariel's first appearance in the Swimsuit Issue.

Anne V

Anne V, 22, was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The V is short for Vyalitsyna. Scouts discovered Anne in St. Petersburg while looking for faces for MTV's Fashionably Loud Europe. Anne entered, and won, becoming the face of Yohji Yamamoto. She has appeared in an Alanis Morissette music video and became the face of Chance Chanel at age 15. This is Anne's fifth Swimsuit Issue appearance.

Alison Preston

Alison Preston, 25, dances for the Boston Celtics. She has been on the squad for three years. Alison's hometown is Bedford, N.H. Her current occupation is real estate agent.

Esti Ginzburg - 2009 Sports Ilustrated Swimsuit

Esti Ginzburg, 18, is a native of Tel Aviv, Israel. She began her modeling career at age 8 with a milk ad. By 14, she had signed with Elite Models and has gone on to model for Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, FCUK, Pull & Bear and Castro. This is Esti's first appearance in the SI Swimsuit Issue.

Tori Praver - 2009 Sport Illustrated Swimsuit

Tori Praver, 21, was discovered at 11 while shopping at Costco with her mother. Tori is an avid surfer, born in San Diego, Calif., and raised in Maui, Hawaii. She followed the footsteps of Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith, Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton as the face of Guess and has appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan, Glamour and Cover magazines. This is Tori's third Swimsuit appearance.

Bar Refaeli, 23, began modeling as an eight-month-old in her native Israel. Bar would pester her mother to sign her up for photo shoots and commercials and only took a 3-year break while wearing braces. At age 15, Bar signed with an agency and began modeling for catalogues and later became the face of Hurley and the Diddy cologne, I Am King. This is Bar's third Swimsuit Issue.

SEXY SUPER MODELS BAR REFAELI

Bar Refaeli was raised on a horse ranch in the Israeli countryside. At the age of 15 she began photographic modelling for fashion catalogues, among them "Castro", "Pilpel", and also starred in a commercial for "Milki". Bar won the title "Model of the year" in a beauty contest in 2000, and in 2001 she won the same title again. She was also chosen to be the home model of "Renuar" fashion network and appeared in their summer 2002 and winter 2003 catalogues. In addition, Bar was also cast for fashion production abroad, among them "Dim" and also appeared in the French Elle magazine. She is the first Israeli model ever to be featured in Sports Illustrated magazine. Now Bar is going to be in the Victoria's Secret catalog. She appeared on the cover of the March 2006 issue of GQ Italy.

Heidi Hudson Leick (born on May 9, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American actress, best known for portraying the evil warrior woman Callisto in the long-running television series Xena: Warrior Princess.After graduating high school, Leick accepted a modeling job in Japan which started a life-long love for travel. She modelled internationally for several years until deciding to pursue a career in television and acting.
